DITEDI – ICT Cluster of the Friuli Venezia Region will be present at the Consumer Electronics Show<\/em> – CES in Las Vegas, scheduled from 9 to 12 January 2024. <\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The visit to the fair is organized in collaboration with Confindustria Udine<\/strong> and with the support of<\/strong><\/span> Commercial Office of the American Consulate in Milan<\/strong> – agency of the American Department of Commerce responsible for promoting American trade fairs abroad.<\/span> <\/p>\n

A delegation of over 30 entrepreneurs and professionals in the digital sector from Friuli Venezia Giulia<\/strong> will participate in the trip, belonging to 20 regional companies, as well as DITEDI and Confindustria Udine personnel.<\/span><\/p>\n

On January 9th, at 1.00 pm (local time), participation is expected in the inauguration of the ITALIAN PAVILION at Venetian Expo, Eureka Park, at the event entitled \u201cSpritz & Pitch – Italian Business Lunch\u201d <\/span>in the presence of the President of CES Gary Shapiro,<\/strong> the Consul General of Italy in Los Angeles, Raffaella Valentini,<\/strong> and the Commissioner for Trade, Alessandra Rainaldi<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

At 6.00 pm on the same day the delegation is invited to participate in<\/span> the International Reception<\/b> organized by the American Consulate, at Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC), West Level 2, Room W233.<\/span><\/p>\n

On 10 and 11 January, participants will be free to visit the Fair independently, while on the evening of 11 January the networking meeting organized by DITEDI and Confindustria Udine<\/strong> is scheduled at the Pampas Las Vegas venue, reserved for members of the delegation regional. <\/span><\/p>\n

The CES 2024<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

The slogan chosen for this ninth edition<\/strong> is \u00abAll On\u00bb<\/strong>that is, everything turned on and connected, signifying the natural evolution of every consumer electronics formula towards new user interfaces that allow dialogue with digital assistants capable not only of responding , but also to propose and summarize information. And it will be AI<\/strong> itself that will be the driving force behind the new season of technology, appearing in all the categories presented. This is demonstrated by the few products already partially anticipated such as, for example, those of the Samsung Bespoke<\/em> line such as the Family Hub Plus refrigerator or the Jet Bot Combo and Jet AI vacuum cleaners: the first uses AI to suggest recipes based on the foods stored in the internal, the latter to detect the type of floor and to adjust power and mode of use. <\/span><\/p>\n

LG<\/em> will present its Smart Home AI Agent robot that will be able to move around the various rooms of the house, understand human language and facial expressions, assist in the adjustments of home automation and Internet of Things devices and entertain children and pets. <\/span><\/p>\n

But AI will probably also be on board cars, in solutions designed for crops and sustainable agriculture, in medical equipment for the preventive detection of pathologies and above all in many accessories that can be placed in the pocket or on the wrist of ChatGPT-style assistants .<\/span><\/p>\n
