The district

The Digital Technology District project was first implemented in 2007 following the initiative of the Municipality of Tavagnacco and the support of other sponsoring bodies. At the end of 2007 the Municipality of Tavagnacco forwarded to the FVG Regional Administration an application for the recognition of the district, which became official with resolution No. 337 by the Regional Council on February 11, 2008.

The FVG Regional Administration identified, according to article 2 of Regional Law No. 27/1999, as replaced with article 14, paragraph 1, of Regional Law n. 4/2005, the Industrial Digital Technology District of Tavagnacco in accordance with the criteria set for the identification and recognition of the industrial districts made with decision No. 1695 by the Regional Council, approved in the session of July 21, 2006, on economic activities: K 72 "IT and connected activities" and specifically codes:

  • 72.1 “Advice on the installation of IT systems”;
  • 72.2 “Development of software and IT advice”;
  • 72.3 “Electronic Data Processing”;
  • 72.4 “Database activities”;
  • 72.5 “Maintenance and repair of office machines, devices and IT material";
  • 72.6 "Other activities connected with IT";

referring to the classification of the economic activities of ISTAT ATECO 2002.

At present, passing from ISTAT ATECO 2002 to ISTAT ATECO 2007, reference codes have changed to:

  • 61 "Telecommunications"
    • 61.1 “Stationary telecommunication”
    • 61.2 “Mobile telecommunication”
    • 61.3 “Satellite telecommunication”
    • 61.9 “Other telecommunication activities”
  • 62 “Software production, IT Advice Services and Connected Activities”
    • 62.01 Software production not connected to edition
    • 62.02 Advice in the field of IT technologies
    • 62.03 Administration of computerised structures
    • 62.09 Other activities of services connected to IT technologies
  • 63 “Activities of information services and other IT services”
    • 63.11 Data processing, hosting and connected activities
    • 63.12 Web portals
  • 58.21 “Development of computer games”
  • 58.29 “Development of other software”
  • 95.11 “Repair of computer and peripherals”.
