VI-grade Srl, an Italo-German company based in Tavagnacco and with distribution subsidiaries in Germany, Japan and USA, is a world leader in simulation technologies for the development of vehicles. It was founded at the beginning of 2006 as spin-off company of MSC Software, a leading company in the field of Virtual Product Development (VPD) technologies and simulation software, services and systems, used by companies worldwide to save time and reduce design and product control costs.

VI-grade can rely on a long experience derived from numerous research projects in the field of vehicle movement simulation with the Universities of Perugia, Padua, Florence and the Polytechnic of Milan. It has been co-operating for some months with the University of Udine. An additional project with the Polytechnic of Turin is under definition. VI-grade boasts a customer portfolio including Ferrari and Ducati Corse.
