Municipality of Reana del Rojale

The Municipality of Reana del Rojale covers 20 sq km and has a population of 5.000 citizens residing in its nine hamlets, which are still very lively and quaint: Reana, Ribis, Rizzolo, Remugnano, Valle, Vergnacco, Cortale, Zompitta and Qualso.

The alluvial origin territory is still intact, it is marked by the "rogge" of Udine (waterways) and Palma and flanked on the East side by the Torre stream.

The economy of the territory can be currently defined as a mixed economy with prevalence of the tertiary sector; the high technology industrial and manufacture sector is also very well established. Over the last few decades an industrial/manufacturing/commercial area developed along state road 13; small production facilities are also based in the surrounding hamlets.

As for public service facilities, the Municipality offers a day nursery, two pre-primary schools, a primary school, a first-degree secondary school, 5 sports facilities, a chemist's, a library and a health care centre.

The Municipality also offers different Sports associations, recreational and cultural facilities that animate the life of the community. Bands and choirs keep the musical tradition of the Rojale area alive.

The Municipality assigned a 150.000 sqm area to advanced technology and innovation facilities.
