Founded in 1991 initially as service supplier in the IT education sector and in the field of CAD, CAM and DTP, Cogito evolved towards a consultancy company in IT system programming and development of dedicated software applications, with specific interest to the managerial sector.

Today, Cogito works as a consultancy company, specialized in IT-related issues and in IT-related aspects of business organization. It intends to serve as a reliable partner for public and private company administrations, to highlight actual managerial and cognitive needs and often plays the role of system integrator, supporting clients in the development of their own IT system.

It operates in synergy with other partners on the territory and private bodies and institutions are among its clients.

The UCIT srl (thermal plant register) administration system is one of its most relevant local projects together with the IT infrastructure of the Regional Civil Protection portal and the integrated platform used for the control room.
