The Agency

The Digital Technology District was officially born on February 12, 2009 with the establishment of the ASDI DITEDI S.c.a r.l.. Behind the establishment of the District Development Agency there is the will to highlight some distinctive features of the territory, such as

• the high number and relevance of ICT based enterprises (Information & Communication Technology);
• the presence of a research activity fulcrum like the Science Department of the University of Udine, in particular the faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Natural Science;
• the several initiatives dedicated to ICT of the Science and Technology Park of Udine (Techno Seed incubator, Techno Growth accelerator, ICT and Hi-Tech project: from present technologies to future ones…)

and to develop an integrated cooperation and knowledge network able to go beyond the geographical boundaries of the territory.
